How long is the programme?
This programme runs for four months, as stated in the respective offer letter.

First month – Training

Second to fourth month – Work while undergoing training (on-the-job)
Will I get EPF and SOCSO contributions?
Yes. Contributions will be deducted and calculated based on the basic salary stated in your offer letter.
If you do not have an EPF or SOCSO account, Dattel will register one on your behalf.
Will I be provided with a laptop?
Sorry, No laptop will be provided.
How is attendance taken?
Dattel will provide updates on attendance from time to time.
Will our wages be deducted?
As you are aware (as stated in the offer letter), Dattel reserves the right to make a salary deduction if there is any insubordination closely related to programme.
Will I be evaluated during the programme?
Yes. You will be evaluated according to your performance in terms of

What is the dress code for this programme?
You are encouraged to dress in smart casual attire. Dressing inappropriately is not permitted (e.g. sleeveless tops, shorts or short skirts, slippers, hats, or torn jeans). Formal attire is encouraged but not required.

Will the session locations change during the programme?
Yes. After the participant/employee is placed with our partner after the training, the location may change (near the location of the participant / employee).
Who should we contact for further enquiries?
You can contact the Dattel party listed in the official WhatsApp group for this programme.
I do not have a bank account, or I am experiencing issues with it. May I use my mother’s, father’s, wife’s, husband’s, or sister’s bank account?
No. You must open a new bank account for salary purposes. Dattel will provide a letter to the bank to facilitate the account opening process. Please contact the Secretariat for further information.
How will the programme be conducted?
This programme will be conducted in a hybrid format.
Participants/employees based in the Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya) are required to attend the campus/office (on-site).
Participants outside the Klang Valley will attend the programme online. However, participant outside Klang Valley are encouraged to come on-site.
Upon completion of the training period (10–14 days), participants/employees will be placed with our partners located near their area. The work/placement arrangement with the partner may vary, i.e. online, on-site at the partner’s office, or hybrid.
Participants who are not placed with a partner will continue the programme with us.
Am I required to attend the campus/office for the kick-off programme or other activities?
All Participants especialy those from Klang Valley must be on-site for the kick-off programme or other activities.
Only those with prior approval from the Secretariat may attend online.
Attendance will be recorded, and disciplinary action may be taken for non-compliance.
