Job Description

The Consumer Intelligence Specialist supports pre- and post-sales process to help businesses reduce their knowledge gap and technology gap in understanding ASEAN consumers.

The Consumer Intelligence Specialist is responsible for driving transformation of insights into actions that serve marketing and communication strategies of businesses. The role also involves synthesising pain points and business problems from the client perspective into data-fuelled marketing solutions.

Generally, all positions in Dattel require the ability to be organised, work independently, think critically and creatively, and solve problems. This position also requires a balance of applied technical and analytical knowledge as well as relationship-management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To analyse datasets with proper and relevant statistical or computational techniques in order to generate meaningful insights for Dattel and its clients.
  • To perform as Expert Users of Dattel’s products in guiding clients to optimise the product capabilities in meeting their business goals.
  • To act as liaison between client and Dattel product development team in continuous efforts to enhance data and product value.
  • To assist Sales & Marketing team in preparing content for pre-sales and branding efforts. 
  • To support any Sales & Marketing effort as needed.

Qualifications Requirements

Working Experience

  • Preferably with minimum 5 years working experience on data-driven professional services and client-centric position in industries such as but not limited to Market Research, Big Data Analytics, Management Consulting, Client Advisory, and/or Advertising.

Education

  • Holds at least Bachelor’s Degree and preferably Master’s Degree in related disciplines such as Quantitative Social Sciences, Business & Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, and other related disciplines.

Language

  • Professional fluency in English is compulsory since this position is expected to work with people from diverse backgrounds and regions.

Skillsets

  • Strong quantitative and analytical mindset.
  • Outcome-driven.
  • Strong proficiency in at least two (2) computational  software or programming, such as Excel, SPSS, Python, R, Weka, E-view, Stata, SAS.
  • Preferably possesses complementary domain knowledge or skills, such as data management skill (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Excellent planning and execution ability.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of managements.
  • Attentive to details.
  • Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Working Condition

  • 10am – 7pm (Monday to Friday) at Dattel Co., Ltd. Bangkok.
  • Willing to travel when required.
  • Able to work long hours and irregular hours if needed.
